On this page I will put photos of the truck as it was when it was used at WXYZ and other stations.

I am looking for ANY photos of this type of truck when it was working on tv shows. Please email them to me and I will put them on this page.

Here is MY truck in 1954. It is on a Golf remote in Detroit, Michigan. Owned by WXYZ-Tv and ABC affiliate.

WOW! A lot has changed in 51 years!
The truck was taken home in the 70s by one of the engineers who worked in it. He re-painted it, and stripped out the insides. He made a camper out of it. It sat outside for many years and rusted away. As far as I know, there are only two of these TJ-48s left in the world. That is why I am going to completely re-build this one to it's original condition.
YES. this is the EXACT truck in the WXYZ photo above!!!!!
